Planning for Advocacy During Month of the Young Child
Description
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) established the Week of the Young Child in 1971. Trying Together designated the entire month of April as the Month of the Young Child (MOYC). This presents an opportunity to celebrate the early care and education profession and plan how we will better meet the needs of all young children, families, caregivers, and educators. During this session, presenters will review the advocacy basics and discuss the Early Learning Pennsylvania (ELPA) campaigns and current policy landscape. Most importantly, we will plan for ways you can take action throughout the month as a way to celebrate successes and advocate for continued support and investments.
