January 24, 2023 | Supporting Children’s Social Emotional Well-Being

01/24/2023 06:30 PM - 08:30 PM ET

Description

Do you ever wonder how two children with the same parents can be so different? How about why some children are so easy going and others are more challenging? One major factor at play is temperament. Temperament is an important feature of children’s social emotional well-being and describes the way in which they approach the world. In this session, participants will explore different temperament traits and analyze how goodness of fit theory supports children’s social and emotional well-being. This course, while available for all STAR programs, meets the STAR 3/4 PD topic requirements in PSCECE Area 4 ECE Level II. Participants will also learn to apply these series to their problem.
